Joining the train of fools...

So, here I am finally giving in and joining one of the mad techno-crazes of the 21st century... blogging! I resisted the temptation for so long, but then couldn't pass of the opportunity to put my thoughts out there in a way that is (in my humble opinion) reasonably adroit and contemplative, while at the same time allowing their examination for what they say and not for who someone reckons I am. For what it's worth, then, if you know who really writes this blog, then you are a trusted friend to whom I feel comfortable revealing myself, and if you don't, then you can just consider what I say without prejudging by way of who you think I should be. It's kind of like reading a diary... if you read the diary of someone you never knew (or at least, didn't know you knew), it would be an interesting window on the human soul and mind, regardless of whether or not you knew the specifics of their lives. If, however, you did know the person, and they allowed you access to their thoughts and ideas, while taking on the vulnerability of ownership and exposure, what a gift... one that is not to be trifled with. I think that's my first entry for today... I must go consider with whom to share the identity of this writer.
